I've been a j-pop fan since before Gaga debuted so

I highly doubt she was referencing SNSD (Girls' Generation for those out of the loop) but I'm sure she would appreciate gems such as

Probably. I mean I distinctly remember one of her first Asian interviews ever being done by Jay Park (then Jaebum of 2PM) and her mentioning receiving music, so I'm sure with her Asian obsession (bitch loves Japan) she pursued further eventually. I've always had my suspicions - certain things on Born This Way sound distinctly J-Pop in their showiness, while others have K-Pop style hooks.

Btw, I'll be happier if the songs sounds more like J-Pop than K-Pop.

I just did a rough research and found that iTunes charting songs in Japan are better and more diverse.



I also like the anthemic feeling spilt all over choruses in Japanese songs.

iTunes isn't popular in Japan at all. CD singles and Recochoku are the main sales getters and actual indicators of popularity.

Lady Gaga ft. Nichkhun & Friends would be great for the lead single.

She's much more likely to end up working with a YG artist than any others due to the Interscope-YG connection forged by 2NE1.

In the grand scheme of things it's not particularly likely collaboration wise. I could see her maybe grabbing a production by someone like Teddy (if he gets the time to know her personally) or another in-house producer for YG like G-Dragon himself (a collaboration would be dope but almost impossible). If anything, I see 2NE1 or perhaps even the next YG group to debut as openers for her next tour.

I like this one ALOT. I would love for Gaga to go in this direction.

Totally different galaxies. Crystal Kay could have a #1 on iTunes but end up having her single paid dust physically; AKB48 and related groups tend to rule, selling more than 1million physical copies on a debut week. Plus a lot of acts don't license to iTunes.
