BRIT'S MOM Visits K-FED

The matriarch of the Spears home, mama Lynne Spears, was spotted on a visit to see Sean-P and baby Jayden-J yesterday at Britney's estranged hubby Kevin Federline's Tarzana home.
Britney's third attempt at rehab could be pivotal in court as she tries to regain custody of her two young boys. If she manages to fulfill rehab commitments, she stands a good chance of regaining primary custody of her sons. For better or for worse.

BRITNEY'S FATHER SPEAKS
Speaking today from his Louisiana home, Britney Spears father, Jamie Spears, told Fox News that the problems with the singer are "not about what other people think" and that he and Brit's mom are "concerned about our daughter."
Jamie added that the troubled pop princess is "a sick little girl ... we're just trying to take care of her and other than that I have no comment."
As for that TMZ report detailng an "emergency hearing" requested by estranged hubby Kevin Federline, rest assured that there is absolutely no validity to that story!
Michael Sands, a publicist for K-Fed's attorney, says they believed someone made up the news of the hearing and told Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini about it.

Us Weekly reports that since her last flight from rehab, Britney Spears hasn't gone near the kids. "She knows she is not well and she does not want to scare [older son] Preston," a source tells the mag.

^That's what i'm afraid of. That she may not want the help, she's only doing it because she HAS to. She HAS to want to do this herself. Or else she's gonna be down this road again.
More Brit stuff:
Is Britney Suffering from Post-Partum Psychosis?
On “The View” show this morning, the women (namely Rosie) discussed Britney Spears’ sad state and suggested that she may be suffering from post-partum psychosis or depression of some kind.
According to Women’s Health:
A woman may have rapid mood swings, from depression to irritability to euphoria as well as delusions, hallucinations, sleep disturbances, or obsessive thoughts.
Some symptons of post partum psychosis according to WebMD:
Although any women with PPD can have fleeting, frightening thoughts of suicide or harming their babies, women with rare postpartum psychosis experience these thoughts as urges they feel compelled to act on.
E! News reports the hairstylist reaction to Britney’s need to shave her head:
“She wasn’t very talkative, in fact, I kept talking to her about the kids, and I asked about her baby, hoping that I could convince her and talk her out of continuing,” added Esther Tognozzi (the hair stylist who refused to shave Britney’s head).
She said that Spears didn’t appear to be under the influence of anything and remained “emotionless” for the most part, “except for when she said, ‘Oh my god, my mom’s going to be so upset,’ and she had tears in her eyes.”
Feelings such as these can drive any “normally sane” person to seek other ways to relieve their pain- including unhealthy attention- seeking behavior, or a quest for mood alteration through substances or alcohol. Photos seen elsewhere of her reaction to Kevin Federline’s refusal to see her children reflects her current state of mind.
The women of The View seemed to have positive thoughts for Britney, agreeing that she has positive, supportive people in her life that will be there for her and help her get through this. Their hope was that she will recover from this ongoing episode in her life.

^David Letterman?
Kevin Federline has gone to visit Britney Spears in rehab, PEOPLE has learned.
Spears, 25, is currently being treated at Promises in Malibu. A source familiar with the situation says Federline, 28, has been involved in her stay there. "He cares a lot about her," the source said.
On Thursday, her father, Jamie Spears, 54, told FOX News from his home in Louisiana that Spears is "a sick little girl. ... We're just trying to take care of her."
He added that his daughter's problems are "not about what other people think" and that he and Spears's mom, Lynne, are "concerned about our daughter."
However, reports that Spears is on "suicide watch" are false, her manager Larry Rudolph told Extra on Friday.
"The story is absolutely untrue. She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better," Rudolph said.
Meanwhile, Federline is anxious about his wife's condition – and about the couple's two sons.
"Britney scared everyone pretty bad. Kevin is worried that's for sure," a source close to Federline tells PEOPLE. "Kevin just wants her to be OK. He loves her, so however she can get better is just what we'll have to accept. [They] will make it work with the kids – it's all still for them."
One person who agrees that Federline has Spears's best interests at heart is her childhood friend and first husband, Jason Alexander, whom the pop star wed in Las Vegas in 2004 (their marriage was annulled 55 hours later).
Federline is "a good dude," Alexander, 25, told PEOPLE on Tuesday, the day before Spears checked out of the Promises rehab center after a one-day stay. "I know he takes care of those kids."
Alexander, who in November called Federline "an idiot," now thinks Spears's estranged husband "just got caught up and manipulated," he says. "Maybe getting Kevin out of her life wasn't the best thing for her."

Headlines exploded all over Friday, stating that pop princess Britney Spears was on suicide watch.
But now only "Extra" can reveal the truth behind the disturbing new Brit shocker. "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli got the answer straight from Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph.
"The story is absolutely untrue," he said. "She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better."
Spears has successfully completed two days in a row at the exclusive Promises rehab center in Malibu, after her mom dropped her off there Wednesday night.
Now "Extra" is uncovering new details about Britney's wild rampage just hours before going back to the rehab clinic.
The mother of two was wild eyed, desperate and out of control as she wielding an umbrella like a baseball bat and repeatedly struck a paparazzo's SUV.
Brit's blows were so forceful, dents were visible in the car. The photog also claims he was hit.
Spears' wild attack happened after her ex, Kevin Federline, refused to let her into his house.
"Extra" has also learned that Kevin called the cops to the house he is said to be staying with the kids just to rein in the shutterbugs.
We've also learned Federline has teamed up with former adversary, Britney's mom Lynne, who arrived at K-Fed's Tarzana home early Friday morning, shielding her face behind a hoodie.
As the world waits for Britney to find herself, is it true Barbara Walters will be the first to sit down for a one on one with the pop princess?
"Here's what I hope for Britney: that she helps herself. That's what is most important," Walters said. "After she does that, she has a long way to go before she sits down for an interview."
But Barbara told "Extra" she had no doubt Brit will bounce back: "She's so talented, she'll be back."
Barbara isn't the only one standing behind Britney during this troubled time; we've also learned that Elizabeth Arden, the beauty company behind Brit's line of fragrances, plans to support her as she tries to heal herself.

More celeb supporters:
ROSIE O'DONNELL
"Britney...my heart breaks / I want to smash those photographers / With something heavier / Than an umbrella"
"I understand her rage [towards the paparazzi]."
J.R. ROTEM
"I support her 100 percent. Whatever makes her happy. Britney is beautiful, inside and out."
BUSTA RHYMES
"Britney is still hot. I've got a lot of respect for her. I'd love to work with her. I know how to work this industry. She should give me a call."
JC CHASEZ
"She still is [the sweetest, nicest girl], man. She's got a great heart. She's going through something very difficult right now. I don't care who you are, divorces are never easy. [They're] never easy with two children involved. It's not easy [when everybody's watching every move she makes]; you can't be human. And the fact of the matter is I know plenty of 25-year-olds and 26-year-olds who are going out every night and [Britney's] not even going out every night! And for the last two years, she hasn't been able to do anything because she's had two kids within the past two years. So, you're talking about somebody who's 25 now who has not really left their house, really, and hasn't had any kind of freedom or liberties in the last two years. She's going through one of the most difficult processes in your life and that's a divorce. People are definitely shaking the finger at her going, "I can't believe you didn't wear underwear because da da da..." and I'm telling you right now she's not the only girl in the world [who doesn't wear underwear]. We've all made mistakes. If that is the worst mistake she makes, I think she's in good shape. ... She's given a lot of people in this world a reason to be happy with her music. She's made a lot of people happy, more than most people. She's already lived a fulfilling life."

NY's #1 radio station, Z100 has decided to "stop feeding the monster".
On this morning's radion segment, they were talking about the footage of Britney attacking the paparazzi. Elvis Duran - the head DJ said somehting like "When she shaved her head, we kind of chuckle but now its getting out of hand". Other DJs on the show added that from the attack footage, the paparazzi were all in her face, ready to push her off the edge - if she hasn't already pushed over. The paparazzi is following her every move.
Elvis saying that we should leave her alone so she can recover. In a effort to "stop feeding the monster" he had asked the tech guy to remove all Britney news from their morning show website and new/entertainment segment.
The morning show hasnt always been pro-Britney. When Britney shaved her head, all the other DJs on the morning show were saying she was crazy but Elvis thought Britney was onto something good - a rebirth of some sort - sarcastically defending her. Who knows, this could be a good thing.
