Maybe their phenomenon lasted only 3 years but in such a short period of time they become (and still they are) the best selling girl group of all time, wannabe the best selling single by a female group of all time and they (as a group) are pop icons still recognizable to these days. The Destiny's Child were/are amazing and vastly succesful worldwide, they had more longevity, released several albums,lasted more years and maybe they can back together and be successful again,etc,etc. BUT they never were the striking worldwide pop phenomenon like The Spice Girls, not even at their peak and everybody knows it.
