I agree. I hate it whenever an artist releases an urban song as a single there's all these melt-downs "I hope this is a promo single", "She needs to come back and release a REAL song", "So when is he lead single comiing?".
I agree, as a fan of that type of music I find it offensive sometimes, how people can be so close-minded, and how people who like dance music go and criticize a load of R&B and hip hop artists when they don't release a dance song. Sorry, but WTF?

I know the second I start playing a song whether ATRL will like it or not.
Plus, Adele, Plan B and Ne-Yo aren't THAT musically removed at all. It's a shame Ne-Yo does the dance songs, since now people associate him with Closer and Give Me Everything, but most of his material is similar in many ways to some of the stuff that Adele and Plan B have done.
