The point is that you guys are over-exaggerating her achievement. I gave you the fact that she had surprisingly decent numbers, but everything else is just a result of her team backing her up and getting her promo.
If you asked you're parent who Rihanna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, or even Kesha is, they'd probably have a clue. But not for Lana Del Rey.
Why are you comparing major popstars to Lana Del Rey? You do know she isn't a popstar, right?
