So everyone on ATRL says that Jessie J is not as successful as Rihanna, Gaga, Madonna etc., and whilst I disagree, I accept that is your opinion and you are entitled to it...
However, you must agree that Jessie J is a RESPECTED artist. She is singing with Queen at the Olympics Closing Ceremony tomorrow, she often imitated, she has great reviews for her debut album (the Metacritic score for Who You Are is 51/60) and she is respected for her vocals.
She's respected outside of ATRL. Every interview i've seen of hers; the interviewer has praised her voice. Even Justin Timberlake said she's the best singer in the world right now.
You can't be respected if people think all you do is sing Katy Perry leftovers. She needs to step it up with her next album. And 51/100 is nothing to brag about.
