MADONNA was last night branded a moralising “****” by Russia’s Deputy PM Dmitry Rogozin.
The Queen of Pop, 53, was blasted after vowing to back the country’s gay campaigners last night at her St Petersburg gig.
Deputy PM Rogozin tweeted: “With age, every former s. tries to lecture everyone on morality.
"Either take off your cross, or put on your knickers.”
Sources in Russia said that while he did not use the entire word, he meant “****” or “*****”.
True to her word, the Material Girl went on to champion gay rights at the concert.
Performing in black sexy black underwear with “No Fear” scrawled on her back, Madonna instructed the audience — most wearing pink wrist bands given out at the door — to “show your love and appreciation to the gay community”.
She went on: “We want to fight for the right to be free”.
She could now face a fine, as promoting homosexuality to the young is illegal.
