Most of us just do it jokingly anyway, it's not as if people really think "Marry the Night" and "Girl Gone Wild" (as examples from my faves, though they aren't leads) are buzz singles.
No it doesn't bother me. I think its appropriate, test the waters or something like that.
Like when Massive Attack came out.....that whole situation was very appropriate.
