That's an interesting way of releasing new music, I guess. And I'm pretty sure he intended for it to be recorded and shared via YouTube, blogs, Tumblr, etc., so I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what the results will be.

You are ****ing clueless. Sorry for being so blunt, but seriously, you are. For him to write out 120 pages of sheet music, which includes parts for many instruments, takes a very long time.
That being said, I think this is a really fascinating idea. I'm sure he's going to have some big names come in and perform some of the tracks for the website.
Beck has made plenty of music now. I'd be content with listening to his discography if he never recorded again.
