What I don't get is how people say one label is great one day and not the next. The head of Interscope hasn't changed. It leads me even more to believe that its not the label, but the management. I feel like the label gets the final say for promo and expenses, but the manager is in charge of booking them. Look at P!nk, she has basically been on the same label as Britney for a while, and Funhouse had great promo. Anyone remember the promo for Circus? Oh wait.. lol You can't tell me the same label who founded Britney wouldn't give her ****, yet give someone who once almost faded away in the US and was inherited on their label when LaFace merged over, better promo than Britney. It just doesn't make sense.
Not to mention, there's other artists on Capitol that have had **** for promo and for singlechoices, etc. Same with every label. I think the managers submit a plan, and the label gives the final "ok" for cost.
