That's another reason I think Pound The Alarm might have been an iffy choice - she keeps talking about the perfume and the commercial like it is about to drop any second and if the commercial featuring Va Va Voom is out at the same time Pound The Alarm hasn't even peaked, it's gonna be a mess if Va Va Voom is the winter single.

To answer one of your other questions, Pound the alarm was already taking off overseas. I believe she said that was why they went with that. They wanted to go with another song...not va va voom but when a song isn't even released and goes top 10 the record company sees that.
I think VVV is the song for the perfume but remember VVV is a song that can work at all times so it being released in winter is no problem.
They should expose VVV with the commercial late September/early October then release the song officially in November. It would be a great marketing strategy and then put the perfume in the video a la Britney spears Circus/Hold it against me.
My thing is: with this new music how is it going to work to have these singles come out in time for November release unless they keep the songs in a vault until shooting the video in october.
