Some explanation for people who are confused by "My ARTPOP could mean anything." It's not her avoiding thinking up a meaning for the song. The lack of a stated meaning, is the point.
Much of Pop Art deals with the role of the artist in creating the meaning of the art. Warhol didn't directly paint a lot of things, he had what he called a "Factory" of people doing it for him. But does that mean he doesn't deserve any credit? He was making a point about the commercialization of art; even if he didn't directly paint on the silkscreen himself, isn't his detachment from the process kind of the point, because he turned art into a mass-produced product made by faceless workers?
Side note, remember this?

By saying "ARTPOP could mean anything," she's compelling the audience to create their own meaning for the work. And if they come up with a meaning supported by the text, does it even matter if that's not the meaning intended by the artist? That's why she's been going around LM.com telling everybody who suggests an acronym that they might have it correct. If that's what ARTPOP means to them, can they be wrong?
