Not 'since 2009', In 2009 most people expected it to be over for him, but of course everyone forgot that he's hot, so as ATRL has proven you can do anything and you'll be forgiven. Then he started to show promise but, several times after, he let himself down and now his music is generic trash and his sales are terrible. I think thats where people are coming from.
I absolutely get your point, and you're right.
I just think he's too young to be written off + there are other artists on the charts w/much worse music than him.

This is the thing, though. Less and less people are satisfied with his music because he's not really progressing sonically. That's why sales are poor. Also, he refuses to promote his album, the self sabotage is killing his sales. Yet he complains his fans aren't doing enough.

Not really true since Turn Up the Music was his highest charting song this era and went platinum
his attitude sucks and the music isn't great nowadays.he needs to go to counseling for anger management
