Well I hope the change comes slower, although it looks like it's becoming faster with the huge U.S. deficit that just keeps growing and is mostly owed to China and with the possibility of a new recession in the EU from the debt sovereign crisis

I don't know much about China or the Chinese, I don't hate them in anyway but I have to say and this is not racist it's just my experience: that when I lived in the U.S. the only people that were rude to me were Asian. I don't know if it's me, maybe I have or do something that Asian don't like

But later a friend, while discussing this, told me that Chinese people tend to seem more rude since there are many in their country and they've grown to be inpersonal and impolite due to the pressures and stress of overpopulated city life. Don't know if it's true, maybe someone Asian could shed some light into this

I'm Asian and I'm a filipino. There are a lot of Chinese people here in the Philippines. Most of them are rich and have very successful businesses. One of the biggest mall chain in the world is owned by a Chinese man here in the Ph. I am really scared on what's bound to happen between my country and China. We are disputing over the Spratly's for almost 3 years and if it will continue that way we will have to deal with weapons and such which our country has no power of while China can make the Philippines dust within 5 minutes. I'm so scared and our president is just ****.

Yes unrest is growing in China due to what you are saying. The Chinese government should allow the Renminbi to float, but they will never do that since it will eat up into their exports and they are highly dependent on them, their domestic economy is too weak. In my opinion, the only way the Chinese would allow a free floating currency is if they were to be forced by some external force, some other country, but the U.S. is to dependent on China as well as China on the U.S. to get into a mess over the currency. I don't know what will happen. I'm really curious though of what will happen if Israel/U.S. invade Syria, in regards to their relationship with China and Russia. Will China and Russia unleash their wrath towards the U.S. or will they not 'walk the talk'?

By the way is Internet banned in Russia or why do I never see Russians on sites like these?
