No to both questions.

"...Baby One More Time" reached #1 on January 30th, 1999 for 2 weeks. (Her 1st #1)

"Womanizer" reached #1 on October 25th, 2008. (Her 2nd #1)

Britney's Total Drought = 9 years, 8 months & 25 days.


"Lady Marmalade" reached #1 June 2nd, 2001.

"Moves Like Jagger" reached #1 on September 10th, 2011.

Christina's Total Drought = 10 years, 3 months & 8 days... a longer drought. Sorry, those are the facts.


Also, please note the fact that in both of Christina's last 2 Hot 100 #1's she has had a MINIMAL (being polite) part in the song.

Anyway, at the end of the day majority of this site has agreed "HIAM" is not amongst the biggest of the No. 1s this year - with "TTWE" coming in and overshadowing it to the max. So even arguing this is a waste of everyone's time. D.M.F. will continue to cling onto "MLJ" through Christina's next era, all the way until she's fired from The Voice.

Moves Like Jagger is clearly a more memorable single, but I don't think it's because of Xtina and I'm saying that as a bit Xtina fan.

HIAM definitely was one of the most forgettable #1's of 2011, but it's good that she managed to get another solo #1 without the help of additional acts.
