Two records were broken on my chart this week! Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" spends its fifth consecutive week at #1, tying it for the most weeks at number one with Kelly Clarkson's "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)." However, Clarkson's tune spent one week at number one, fell off, then came back for an extra four weeks two weeks later. Perry's are all consecutive, meaning "Wide Awake" takes the record for most consecutive weeks at number one. Another record breaking feat this week comes to us from Demi Lovato. While "Give Your Heart a Break" spends its 29th week on the chart, the only song to still be charting from the chart's very first week, the song continues to rack up weeks and hold the record for longest stay on the chart. This week, Lovato jumps from number 16 to number nine meaning the song now takes the record for longest climb into the top ten. Prior to the song's recent resurgence, it peaked at number 11 back on February 26.
