Take a damn seat.

Apparently you, people who make these types of threads and other stanbases that spend countless amount of effort into these type of discussions

Yeah that's why it has sold over 1.4 million copies and the era is far from over, and you can't forget she has the biggest tour of the year, and holds the record for the biggest tour of all time by a solo act
These types of threads and comments only reinforce her relevancy and how she is still the biggest threat for other stanbases 30 years into her career
Madonna is the Queen of Pop, under the most dire circumstances she endures, thrives even.

Even Madonna makes room for Lady GaGa, she isn't fit in because the room is too large. Sorry but it's true.

True dat. And that argument is stale, how many more times do we have to hear it?
Have you ever seen Michael Jackson or Britney playing instruments? No. And they are Pop Royalty and no one will take their place.
When will people understand that playing a Piano or having a Lounge voice doesn't make you a better pop star?
Pop stars are about performing, dancing, putting on a show, being political, making people talk, pushing people's buttons, making people feel, not about having the best voice or sitting on a chair to play an instrument.
This whole discussion is old and tired. Madonna is the Queen of Pop. Period.

wait sis the king played the piano and drums as a child, and that beatiful ass voice was his instrument.

Okay, I'm just so done with keeping my mouth shut when it comes to the nagging urge I get to fist somebody with a chainsaw every time I hear some off-the-cuff remark about this woman who incessantly inspires dialogue, even 30 years after her career began. And if this little post offends you, I can't really tell you enough how I just don't care.
We've grown used to the bitches and their bitching. We've survived the SEX backlash, we've endured through the endless jokes about her acting and movie choices, we chuckle when some low-brow comment is made about her taste in men, and we survive waves of passive-agressive ******** that is thrown at us by the fans of other pop divas in a never-ending endeavor to fuel internet feuds. Madonna certainly didn't need the internet to inspire people to drag her down, but its existence has inarguably intensified the vitriol -- so much, that it often causes people like me to simply step back and ignore most of it.
And yet we, the true Madonna fans, endure just as she does: by filtering out all the ******** and continuing on. She still puts out topnotch work -- "Gang Bang" is, as an example, one of the best song's she's recorded in a decade or so -- and those of us who have stuck with her are genuinely interested in whatever she continues to do artistically. While it is true that not all her projects are created equal by any means, there has seldom been anything so devastating in her professional career that has warranted any of us questioning our fascination -- and even our devotion -- to her. We endure WITH her because we are fans, and that's what fans do. We are loyal to the end.
Having said that, with all the loud roaring that has gone on against the woman in the last few years, the one thing I NEVER expected to see at this stage is some of her own, very loyal fans joining those ranks.
Whether it is here or elsewhere (Facebook, Twitter) I am appalled and shocked that EVERY single movement this woman makes is blatantly criticized, blasted, spun to be negative and loathing, or just downright insulted. To what avail? Are we REALLY that obsessed with the fact that her album didn't sell six million copies? Or that her singles didn't reach number one? This is such pointless drivel.
There is a word for people who spend all of their god damn time bitching about the little things. They're called pathetic. These are also the kind of individuals who are very obviously lacking something in their lives -- my guess is something simple, like basic happiness. Others I assume simply love doing it because it seems "fun" after they watch others do it. Those are even worse offenders, because they lack balls.
Madonna has made some odd, even downright baffling business decisions in her day. But nothing she has ever done artistically or personally warrants any of the blatant negativity she is currently being bombarded with BY HER OWN ****ING FANS. If some of you are THAT drastically discouraged by her actions as of late, then you were never really fan: you were parasites waiting until you bled her dry before moving on to your next prey.
If that's the way you feel, then you can gladly keep on roaring.
The music, the legend, the woman will endure long after your bitching has been forgotten.
Have a nice day.

These titles were never really about who is hot at the moment, they were created to emphasize the legacy, influence and cultural impact of certain artists with impressive careers and achievements.
