Is dying considered "falling for it"? Because in that case I see how people "fell for it" last time.
Just because you didn't see its effects doesn't mean it was exaggerated because it is actually a dangerous virus.

well it wasnt as 'deadly' and 'wide spread' as they said it was going to be and im not really here to argue because its my opinion and its not gonna change... people die of different things everyday

579,000 people died of it and about 100,000 of those would have been in the US. If you're not here to argue don't, but it's not necessary to talk about people "falling for" something that killed hundreds of thousand of people.

why is it so relevant how much people in the u.s died? u do know most of the people that died was in africa and south east asia? well anyway i know all the facts and statistics but still stick to my statement

Because it was called a pandemic because it was widespread, genius, and the majority of the outbreak was centered in North America. The only reason more people died on other continents is because Africa has a very poor healthcare system in most areas. The US, which also is the center of the current outbreak that this thread is talking about, had the most deaths of any individual country last time.

And even so, who confirmed that those 579,000 people actually died as a direct consequence of such vyrus?

Mexico was claimed to be the country where this "disease" started spreading in 2009 and the media never actually showed a single patient on TV.

In 2010 the WHO was accused of creating a false pandemic campaign it's not like I'm making this up based only on my own opinion. And besides, it's pretty curious we're getting a new "outburst" in the very same year that a lot of countries are going through presidential elections.

The estimation of 579,000 is from a medical journal, and the 100,000 for the US is figuring the amount of laboratory-confirmed deaths in the US is about 17.5% of all laboratory-confirmed deaths, so it follows that it would be about the same otherwise.

Either way, it's foolish to call a pandemic with thousands of 100% confirmed deaths a "hoax" and it's offensive to people who had the virus or who knew people who were among the dead.
