This is the last time I'm going to post in this thread. I can understand people's frustration, but keeping it logical as someone else put it, Chick-Fil-A isn't doing anything illegal. They don't prevent gays from being hired, nor do they refuse to serve gays. If that was the case, then they would be hot water. But in reality, they're just laughing all the to the bank while people are foolishly giving this more attention than needed. The amendment that allows you to express your sexuality, is the same amendment that allows them to express their opinion on marriage.

If a resturaunt openly admitted they donated money to the Klan or groups that promoted the undermining of African-Americans, I probably wouldn't eat there either. But this is still America, where we have rights to freedom of expression and thought. So, that doesn't necessarily make everyone who is not Black "ignorant" or holding an agenda for wanting to eat there.

I think Whoopie summed it up pretty well on the View this past week on Chicago banning CFA.

I live in NY and I came to Florida, and I just had CFA for the first time.

I'm sorry, but this is that GOOD ****. I don't even care because my cashier was clearly gay, so it just made everything the more ironic.

I also informed you that “His religion” has a history of changing its interpretations of the Bible and picking and choosing which religious tenets to follow, and according to you that too is irrelevant. Well, the Bible never really outright condemned slavery, and good Christians who owned slaves loved to point that out as a reason for why slavery was justified. So using the Bible in this instance is rather specious because interpretations of the Bible are not static and have been subject to change. There's also the matter of the separation of church and state, but I digress.

You’re like the 50 millionth person on this thread to try and fail to argue that this is only about one man’s “opinion” when that mess was debunked numerous pages ago. Maybe you need to go back and reread those posts. As others have said before me, this isn’t simply about mere opinion. It’s about money that this business uses to either restrict the rights of people or in some cases outright kill them because their sexual orientation. If you don’t understand what’s going on, just say so, cuz you sure are coming in here with some cornball rebuttals.

If there is one thing I would like to see come from this, it would be the financial support of gay charities to combat the charities Chick Fil A are supporting. They are the ones who are making a difference, which is a LOT better than wasting font over a chicken sandwich.

What is kissing in front of the restaurant going to do? Or abusing the employees and customers of those who go and work there? Absolutely nothing

If anything these "rebellious" stunts are giving them more publicity. If you are going to criticise every person that buys a meal there by accusing them of supporting anti-gay relationships, at least make a difference by donating to charities that help the LGBT community.

Those who support CFA support anti gay charities. Those who are against CFA should support pro gay charities. Seems like a fair trade.
