Producers themselves confirmed $200 million to The Hollywood Reporter and it's still going to flop. It's expected to peak at an abysmal $52 million in the US.

That doesn't include the marketing budget. This reminds me of Universal underestimating the total budget for "Battleship" after the movie bombed.

Breaking even is when you're outta the red line, paid off the $125M+associated cost(marketing) and started to make money even with just a dollar.

The gross is usually split 50/50 between distributors and theaters.

Did you even read my prior posts. They will not start to make any penny before the movie cross $350M.

In U.S., theaters get about 45%. Overseas, theaters get around 55%.

It was expected to do $20-30 million and it most likely won't top $25 million.

Big budget movies demand big marketing. It's simple as that. The marketing budget was at least $70 million, since the movie was heavily promoted.

I think so.

The general rule is a movie has to make 2.5 times it's production budget to break even which is over 300 mil. I don't think it will do that.

This film needs to make at least $525M. It won't do it.
