Do you think it sounds pretentious? I've seen many people say that ARTPOP sounds very pretentious as an album title. Personally, I fail to see what makes it sound pretentious. What do you think?

I don't think she means anything pretentious by it. Gaga has always strived to make "art pop" though. She has even said this in her earliest interviews during 2008. I can see why people would deem it pretentious though, but it's not.

Well, she based it off of Andy Warhol's "Pop Art," so there's a motivation behind it at least.

It's not like she's arbitrarily celebrating herself.
