Well according to all the old people I work with (I'm the youngest at my job by 25 years) they all think she's talented but weird.

Yes she is, everyone knows she is an excellent performer and that she is really involved in everything she does and that she always wants her work to be as perfect as possible, she's really a respected artist.

I love gaga, but sorry to say, I think the majority sees her as a joke (except her monsters of couse).

As it's been pointed out, the GP can't differentiate between artists. I've heard people ask if Kelly is Katy, if Gaga is Kesha, if Rihanna is Nicki.

As it's been said a million times before, the GP isn't stans. They don't care about the artist or talent behind the music.

The answer would be "no". The GP simply don't care enough about Pop stars to look into their catalogue to see if they have talent. Which is why, unless you're billed as an acoustic artist from the beginning, like Adele, or a power vocalist, like Whitney, the GP doesn't see you as talented.

The GP doesn't really like her that much anyways, in terms of her as a person. Everyone thinks she's a wackjob.

You are right in a way, they do say that but at the same time, they KNOW she's talented and much better than Britney/katy/kesha etc.

You should have seen comments about her Howard stern performance on forums that are not even music related. People were like "I strongly dislike that Gaga chick and her music but DAMN she is talented"

It's "cool" to dislike Gaga but nobody in their right mind will say she's not talented
