Both are iconic career changing songs. I think they're equally iconic but poker face is better lyrically.

Poker Face was released in 2009 and it hit #1 in May. What are you talking about? Here is the list of #1's during the Spring/Summer of 2009.

Boom Boom Pow #1 (13 weeks)
I Got A Feeling #1 (14 weeks)

My main point is that Poker Face was constantly being overshadowed by other songs and you could never get a real sense of it's impact because other songs were more prolific during the time of it's peak (Right Round, Boom Boom Pow and I Got A Feeling being the most notable). Umbrella felt bigger by comparison, no other song was bigger then Umbrella the year it came out.
