I'm not convinced it's the album title though, I think it's just the term they want to define the sound of the album.

It's not, it's a new genre. The DJWS thing has put that as a 100% thing in my head, he wouldn't tattoo an album name even if he worked on it, he didn't with BTW and that was his big industry break.

It is OBVIOUSLY a genre they have 'created' together.

I still think ARTPOP is the theme and conception of the album. Once again the gurls on ATRL are doing the most over a decent possible album title.

RedOne has gotton too generic, he tried to recreate the sound he made for Gaga with too many other people. It's time to let go of electropop and say hello to artpop.

He did some great work on BTW though that sounded different, he might adapt further. We shall see.
