I agree with that.

I must say, I know that Season 5's Idol winner was picked not because of talent, but Hicks has done something a little impressive in my view with his 1st single.

As for Kellie, she's done well for herself with Red High Heels, even though country isn't my normal coffee drink.

Katherine has a fair pop song going for her, but it gets tiring after awaile.

And I'm fully engaged with Daughtry's It's not Over, so that one wins without any doubt.
Oh...and he's currently selling more then Kellie + Taylor combined. (^_^! hee hee)

I didn't even know Taylor Hicks had a single, plus I hate him, so obviously not. Personally, I'd go with Katherine Mcphee's "Over It," but domestically, so far, "It's Not Over" by Daughtry is the best selling both album and singleswise. However, Kellie Pickler has surprisingly hung on as well with some good success. = X

I would say...Chris. Then Katherine. I hope Chris doenst follow in Bo Bice's footsteps, as in have one song that is pretty popular and disappear off of the face of the Earth forever.

Now lets see how many times I've heard each of these songs on the hit music station out here:
1. Daughtry- way too many to count
2. Kat- maybe 2
3. Kellie- 0 (although she is more country than hit music)
4. Taylor- negative 5

So obviously you could see I think Chris had the best first single, although Kat's is not that bad. Kellie and Taylor both suck in my opinion and thats why I've heard both their songs on the radio a total of 0 times. I listened to their songs once each on my own and it's easy to figure out why I haven't heard their songs on the radio.
