Adeles music appeals to all ages. Her style while slightly modernized has been around for ages drawing on a wide range of styles and influences.
Gagas message and music is polarizing and appeals to a more limited audience.

I agree with that. But the album is still selling today like hotcakes. I'm tempted to believe that there's some kind of magical payola going on LOL. Just my opinion though. Glad it's Adele slaying like this though and not any other random pop gurl.

19 and 21 are both very similar in musical terms. However 21 is definitely the stronger album. While 19 is a smoother album. Relating to Gaga though, her albums appeal to the masses because her music doesn't really have an age to it. Gaga appeals to older generations at times (TEOG, You And I) but it's not like Adele who's music really and truly appeals to all ages and many situations.
