Two teenage brothers each were sentenced to 10 years in prison for torturing a puppy by cooking it in an oven.

Joshua Moulder, 17, and Justin, 19, pleaded guilty in January to charges including burglary, criminal damage to property, terroristic threats and cruelty to children.

The brothers brought neighborhood children to see the dead puppy, then threatened to kill them if they reported it, prosecutors said.

Police said they found the dead mixed-breed puppy inside an oven at an apartment community center Aug. 21. Scratch marks were found inside the oven, indicating the puppy had been alive when it was placed inside, prosecutors said.

A necropsy on the 3-month-old dog found its paws and snout had been duct taped and it had been doused with paint before being placed in the oven, prosecutors said.

Authorities also found damaged computers, broken glass and splattered paint on the walls of the newly refurbished community center.

Seriously, this is ****ing horrible. To me, it's not just because they killed an animal. No, that poor puppy was freaking THREE MONTHS OLD. I don't care who you are, killing and *torturing* a baby animal is wrong in any culture.

I'd torture them and throw them in an oven myself if I knew these cretins. They deserve to die. No, they MUST die. No person(or persons) that does something like this deserves to live.

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - A man convicted of killing four of his girlfriend's kittens by throwing them into a fire was sentenced Thursday to nearly a year in prison despite the couple's pleas for leniency.

Washington County Circuit Judge John H. McDowell also urged authorities to investigate whether defendant Robert L. Tomlin's girlfriend, Kelli Green, participated in the animal abuse and then lied to police.

"You have given so many stories, conflicting stories, about what happened that evening that I don't believe a word you have to say right now," McDowell told Green after she spoke in Tomlin's defense.

McDowell ordered Tomlin, 22, to serve the maximum of 341 days in prison for violating his probation by moving back in with Green and her five remaining cats days after he pleaded guilty Nov. 13 to aggravated animal cruelty. The plea bargain had included a suspended, 18-month prison term and three years of supervised probation with conditions that Tomlin avoid contact with Green and animals.

Tuesday's sentence included credit for 199 days Tomlin has already spent in custody.

Green, 20, initially had implicated Tomlin in the July 2 deaths of her kittens but she recanted a month later.

btw, I know someone who made his family come downstairs at 2 in the morning because his bird wouldn't shut up, said "Watch me", and broke the bird's neck. The birds eyes came out of it's sockets. HE only spent 10 days at jail. HOW DUMB IS THAT.

Well, aint there is a phobia or disease about this stuff, because my uncle's friend was caught cooking puppies in the oven and got arrested, after that, he's going to "Mental Problem Hospital". LOL. And you know what, he admited that he likes how the puppies "screm out" when he's torturing them and he killed about 20+ puppies already by THAT TIME.

I dont know yet, if he's already recovered from that rehab.

Nasty pieces of f*cking ****. There's alot of people like that too, many of whom pretend to care for animals but consue them all the time and think that huge contradiction is not hypocritical or important. Many think there is one set of 'caring rules' for animals they've chosen to think of as pets and those they've chosen to think of as food.

All of you who feel disgust at this - do you eat lamb? The production of lamb for us herbivores masquerading as omnivores also involves inhumane processes, the same goes for wool production regardless of what the industry may like to pretend.

Then there's shellfish - they're usually burned alive for the sake of your plate.

I don't agree with any country or people that do that but at least those people/countries don't pretend to be moralistic and holier than thou with their 'let's draw a fine line between what animals we can and don't eat - at least that way we're not savages' crap. The basis for what animals we domesticate and what anials we eat is (as usual for humans) illogical - the typical 'food' animals i.e. poultry, sheep, cows and pigs are not lower than the animals we domesticate, anyone whose had them as pets or reared them as part of farms that don't kill them (or mass production line take from them) will know that like pets they have their own personalities and characters. The line between them and pets is just an arbitary line made by someone (people) down the line who made the divide.

But when you highlight that mis-correlation in the contradictory societies you get all this defensive pretentious crap from people that would rather revel in their own hypocrisy and ignorance at the expense of those they unnecessarily consume and you get all this high tone moralistic crap from them simply because they are guilty and narrow minded. They block out what they do and think so little of it that they get complacent and can't even see what they are doing - and humans do it in so many areas of life, the size of their brains are truly wasted on the majority of us. If they'd actually stop to think about what they are doing they'd realise that they have no reason to be so indignant. They'd also see how any efforts they make to look after animals and the environment are totally overshadowed or made negligable by eating meat/dairy and consuming meat/dairy products.

Recently here in he news there was a person who fed a live cat to his dog and took glee in the excruitating suffering of the cat and vicious behaviour of the dog. You get go any people who pretend to be better then other animals i.e. particularly carnivores - but they're no better at all, they're worse because of the huge scale of gluttony upon which they demand it. Humans seem to think that because they have technological might that they can lord themselves all over and destroy everything - they're socially backwards and evil in many ways down to everyday parasitic and uncaring life, there's no point being great in one area and so flailing in the other and then have the audacity to think of themselves as evolved - there's a huge way to go for humans to ever become what they think of themselves as, if they ever get the chance (they've had tons already) to get there.

The two teenage idiots should get 40 years, not 10.

Only people who commit large financial crimes and/or crimes against the govt tend to get sentences like that^ - unless they're serial murderers, serial rapists & murderers, mass scale peadophiles e.g huge internet distribution or singular crimes that shock the nation(s)/get lots of coverage but all of those examples are subject to individual circumstances as well.

They wont give a sentence like that for the autrocities committed unto the puppy because they legally do that in meat/fish farms/plants/labs worldwide so they don't care that much. It's like how some people abhor and outrage against rape and then you have a ton of people finding enjoyment and nothing wrong with popular entertainment like ******. Everywhere there is outcy, it is usally legal somewhere else or the place but not as obvious or obvious but people don't care to see it.

This is horrible, i can't believe people can do something like this, they have serious psychological problems and jail won't fix it, they should also go to a mental care institution for another 10 years
