Isn't it a little too early though to be releasing a Christmas ablum? Maybe mid November would be better fitting. I wonder if she will do a tour for the Christmas album during December?

That's what I thought, too. But maybe she needs time to work on her sophomore album, so they chose to release this one earlier.

I just don't want it to flop. The album can definitely outsell her debut album because Christmas albums sell well especially from singers who can sing well.

It's going to flop for sure, she's not relevant enough to release a Xmas album.....

She's had two pretty big singles in the U.S. and hopefully another in the making. The She & Him Christmas Album sold well I think and they aren't relevant at all in the music industry. So I expect the album to sell at least whatever amount that sold.

True. We'll see. Her album did manage to debut high but it hasn't gone Gold here. Maybe if she promotes it, it could do well. And AC seems to like Christina and those stations go completely Christmas when December comes around so she'll get a lot of promo their. I think the album will do decent, just I think October is a little too early.

Distance is doing well. Just went Top 30 on Hot AC today:

I think it has a good chance at going Top 10 there and crossing over onto Pop and after on AC. Single will probably be peaking near the holidays so it should be selling well around that time.

Michael Buble also released "Christmas" in October, I really don't see the problem...

That is true. I also looked up other past Christmas albums and a lot of them have come out in October and release singles in late November/early December. So I guess it's a good idea to get some sales early.

I'm really hoping it goes Gold in the U.S.
