No doubt about it... Rihanna's "Where Have You Been" and Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" have clearly SLAYED some of the competition in 2011 & 2012 Personally, I believe WHYB is Rih's best track on TTT and I think TEOG is under "Born This Way". SOOO...?!?! What do u guys think?!?!
WHYB is hot af, but TEOG is on a whole different level. The depth of the lyrics, the beautiful production, the fact that is was wrote about her grandfather... so yes TEOG.
I'm sorry, but something about Where Have You Been just slays me. It's just so crazy and epic. It's such a big song, and the production. I love TEOG to death and is my 2nd favorite song from Born This Way, but Where Have You Been, especially as a Rihanna stan, has a lot of good feeling to me. It helps TTT as an era overall for me.
Don't get me wrong, I love Where Have You been. I consider it to be the best song on the entire TTT album. TEOG however is something else, its pure pop music perfection blended with a mixture of deep meaningful lyrics and a stellar saxophone solo. Its what other pop songs wish they could be.
