I think people would be more segregated and individual. Religion has always been a factor of social status and mass classification, specially to ancient civilizations.

I was just thinking about this! I'm not religious at all but the Ten Commandments helped form many modern day laws and helped moralize them. But the religion has also started many wars. So there are negative and positive things that have been caused by religion. More negative though. I think more people would open-minded though.

Religion has cause some wars, but it also avoided many of them. Religion has been used as a sort of morality code.

I think that religion has had its benefits throughout time, and certainly advanced human civilization quite a ton up until the middle ages.
I myself am an atheist, however without religion we would most likely still be tribal fools living in tents. Religion was one of the few ways to force law and morals upon people.

I think its humanity that has really messed up religion, and has taken everything in the Bible too literally. If people actually followed It correctly, there would not be any acts of hate.

There were basic moralistic principles before the commandments so they surely didn't introduce them to the human species. There were also other civilizations that were "moral" and had never been introduced to the abrahamic religions. In addition, some of the commandments don't apply to a very high degree in our society. Sundays continue to be a day that many people are active, people still cheat on their spouses, and the parent one is very subjective to your person-to-person relationship with them. There are commandments that even don't acknowledge, or rather, don't approve of other religions and they have no place in many of our secular, multi-cultural settings.

Well, there are negatives that came with Religion. People who are homophobic, racist, sexist these days, a lot of the time their excuse is "it says in the bible" or "my religion doesn't believe in that". There are some openminded religious people and I do appreciate them but I feel religion tends to make people more closeminded and because it tells them how they have to live life, they don't get to form their own opinions.
