Like if you see a thread about a movie, artist, album, songs, etc does it make you want to listen to them, watch the movie, etc. Or do the avatars affect you?

I find myself listening to albums by artists based off of certain threads or avatars I see.

sometimes movie threads which are popular or hyped can get me interested. i don't get that way with music or artists or anything though

Yeah, but most of my interest in finding new musicians to listen to comes from doing rates. Every once in a while I'll take a random thread or a suggestion from someone to listen to certain people (Rebecca & Fiona, chillwave thread, the like).

A lot have people have asked me who is in my avi and then go Google him.

Yes, it does actually. You can learn more about artist from their dedicated stans. And don't even let me get started on the receipts It's a mess how I know how much 80% of these artist have sold in the US and Globally thanks to SYG
