Look for IDJ Chicago emo-punks Fall Out Boy’s Infinity on High album to debut at the top of the HITS chart next week, with 275k, possibly 300k, thanks to a big iTunes presence. That total is tempered by the bad weather in Midwest cities like Chicago, Minneapolis and Detroit. SBMG Nashville comer Jason Michael Carroll, whose “Alyssa Lies,” a story of an attempt to help an abused child, is a huge hit, appears to be in line for sales between 55-60k, which exceeds expectations. Meanwhile, WB’s own High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale looks in the 55-60k area. Finally, Vice/Atlantic’s U.K. critical faves Bloc Party are eyeing a first-week total ranging from 45-50k. Ashley's cd was released on tuesday...just wait till the whole week is done.....her sales will probably be around 99,000 or 100,000....if I'm wrong maybe around 81,000.....she is basically going to sell more then Vanessa though, her album is full of "Club" songs and vanessa's with "melodies.....

I know. You'd expect them to do better with the success of HSM and all.

Well Vanessa has sold 360,873 copies so far and when Say OK goes for adds in March she will only go up
so will see if Ashley can top that...

well Hits is never right on key point, but their predictions are always 99.9% close. sometimes off by a couple of thousands so sadly she'll see what they p/d. Such a good album too. But they did p/d terribly last week. They said Norah 450K, Kat 100K but all together it ended with Norah 406K, and Kat 115K so maybe she'll break 100K

C'mon she should be heading toward the 150 to 200k around....so sad.

The paragraph I posted isn't saying she sold 55-60k in one day.
It's saying those will be her first week's sales which is a projection based on how much she sold on the first day.

I hope Ashley could have more than 55-60k...
