tbh the only time I see or hear anything related to Gaga is on this site, which I only visit a few times a week. Tour numbers are nice and all but Madonna can bring in big numbers too but her albums aren't selling, and only her hardcore fans care. Yeah, people are discussing you...they tend to do that when you do silly **** to get attention.
She's not over, but she's is fading imo. She's on the CLOCK.

the fact that this thread has hundreds of posts and so many articles are created about her being "snubbed" - when her only eligible videos were for a 4th and 5th singles - speaks for itself.. If it was anyone else, nobody would even care

It's expected for Madonna she has been around for nearly 30 years. But someone selling out stadiums 4 years into her career.. Sit down
Also, her tour receipts have nothing to do with how relevant she is at award shows or on the charts. It shows that there are people who still love her shows and that she has a dedicated fanbase, but that doesn't mean her popularity amongst the general public isn't fading.
With that said, it's too early to say she's fading. MTN really didn't do anything, so people shouldn't have expected any nominations.
But Madonna has been in the game how long? And how long has Gaga been the new pop queen? Are any other of her contemporaries selling out multiple stadiums?
That's funny b/c even with no album out or a movie in theaters....

To be honest, I haven't seen/heard anybody in real life talk about Lady Gaga in years. But it was like that even when she was at her peak. But I think straight young males (which is mostly who I hang out with) aren't exactly going to talk about her much anyway, but still.
No shade, but gaga is going to be the next Kelis.
Kelis created the best dance record of the decade, without any commercial success. Fleshtone was epic.

She can fade from being HBIC for all I care. I'd love to see what a Gaga completely unencumbered by expectations would come up with. Obviously, her surrealistic, non linear videos are too much for many of the general public and many lightweight "The Fame" fans; who prefer to have everything spoon fed to them in an easily palatable format.
