I voted for Gotye because I actually like the song but also they stan a chance to pull in the indie and rock crowd because they definitely won't be voting for Rihanna or Katy. M.I.A. doesn't have a chance, I don't think.

I have a feeling Rihanna will win most of her awards but VOTY won't be one of them. It'll be like Gaga at the Grammys in 2010 and losing to Arcade Fire for AOTY when everyone thought she would win.

The indie fav usually sneaks right in and snatches wigs and everyone starts tweeting "WHO ARE THEY?" I can see it right now.

Also, it'd be kind of a slap in the face by MTV firing back by nominating her but not letting her win any after she bashed them last year. It would be them getting the last laugh.

It's true and I can see them all voting for Rihanna actually since most of them actually like her but the last time we joined forces and "liked" each other was when Bionic was released and we jointly dragged the album to the pits of hell. Good times. The only reason they turned is because they both had Spring releases in 2011.

It probably will... I feel like MTV doesn't like Rihanna enough to give her the satisfaction of having two VOTY's anyway.
