Yeah, it'd be to do with our average wages etc. The absolute minimum wage for everyone 21 and over is $15.96, or $606.40 a week.

The US minimum wage is like $7...big difference and makes sense why things are cheaper.
Having said that I'm all for lower price itunes tracks.

It's because the standard is higher.
Same thing is in Switzerland - you pay for one CD here and could get two in the US for that money.
However, the salary in general is very high. For example, a nurse earns in US around 3500$, while in Switzerland you earn about 6500-7000$.

The minimum wage there is like the equivalent to 20 US dollars or something to that effect, so yeah this isn't really shocking.
