The cutout design of the shoes went up on the foot past where the toes stop giving the illusion that the toes were longer than they actually were. Why isn't that obvious to everyone? Clearly, the bottom of her feet can be seen in the picture which is not the same distance back from the front of the shoe as the place where the cutouts end...
