LoveGame's her only song I intentionally avoid everytime it gets played somewhere. Followed by You and I. Sorry i just cant get into her ballads save Speechless. I know ill catch hate from this but i actually dig Eh Eh.
Scheisse, while being one of if not the most catchy song on the record, couldn't really work as a radio song. There's too much debate on what to do with the gibberish, and the whole theme of the song would be lost.
Government Hooker wouldn't have gotten a release because she'd already pushed too many buttons too hard by the time she released it instead of You and I.
Fashion of His Love, while being a song that I prefer over You and I, wouldn't be all that great either. Gaga had enough people saying she was copying Madonna. She didn't need people saying she was coping Whitney either.
If she hadn't released You and I, she should have went ahead and released either Marry The Night or Heavy Metal Lover. Both songs would have done better WW than it, and would have had a better chance of performing well at the time.
I don't think Heavy Metal Lover would have performed too well, what whitney song sounds like Fashion of His Love?
