And technically, the only thing Beyonce has over Kelly is her ability to bust out her melisma. But as an R&B singer, I would expect Beyonce to have a solid grasp on that. But other than that, Kelly is the superior singer, belter and whistler.

Lol at bringing up all the other female singers of this generation.

To answer the answer, Bey's voice is under appreciated. Maybe some people on Atrl judge her fairly but that's about it. Her voice doesn't even shine the most in ballads, what she can do in her uptempos like Bug A Boo, GMB (actually half of B'Day), Diva is even more impressive imo.

Perfect control, amazing technique, she uses her voice like an instrument and sh uses it very well.
