Ok now lately in the music forums no one allows you to have an opinion unless you like a song. Like in the Ashley Tisdale threads, everyone who like's this song will tell you to shut the f*** up if you hate it or mock or your comment. This is getting extremely annoying now and I just wanted to say this since no one else has. I'm sure many of you agree that people like this need to be banned or at least warned.

All I did was voice my op-inion, and this stupid bastard basically attacked and stereotyped me (and of cousrse he probably meant it in a racist way but I'll save that for later) but it doesn't matter. I think that people need to be warned or temp banned for just being idiots. i'm sure Adrian and Kely would have been banned AGES ago.

And yes, I'm still on a vendetta against both of these two because I dislike them

I agree. On music forums, I always have to get worried if I'm offending anyone. But all I'm doing is voicing my opinion. And it's quite ridiculous, to be honest.

All you guys have to remember to do is to not let this crap bother you and remember that it's YOUR opinion and that you believe in it. Believe me, if I didn't believe in my own opinion, I would have been chewed up and spitted out a long time ago.

The easiest way to combat people like these people is to fight back(though I would try to do it in a professional manner). That's all. Don't cry because people are attacking you. Fight back.

Seriously, it's your opinion and you are free to hate on anything on this board. And to those who aren't mods who have decided to mod threads to keep dissent out, I'd suggest you knock it off before you end up with a boot down your throat. For real.

Wow, I've tried to and hopefully successfully diffused 'dissent' in threads before - does that warrant an attempted boot down the throat? People aren't allowed to hate on anything they want to because every board has T&C's.

This is one reason why I don't speak my mind off to everyone I disagree with unless someone's racist. I didn't want to start **** with anyone who I didn't want to fight with.

Agree! And I just were, like let go of their opinions, I mean, we all have different opinions. Why we have to fight for that. There's no winner, btw.

If I recall, there used to be an informal policy that you could say just about anything you wanted about a public figure and the quality of their product, but personal attacks on posters were to be limited to certain areas like the NHB thread. It really seems to have shifted lately, where if you dare say anything about someone's favorite artist, they will pretty much go apeshit on you, and the general tone of the forum seems to be more upset about the disparaging of the artist rather than the disparaging of the poster. I don't know, but I think that we need to shift back.

Last I remembered, these sort of things a couple of you are complaining about have been happening ever since I regularly started posting. (Which was a long time ago...or at least a year for those who love Anal...) And those complainers here were often in similar situations back then, but only in the giving end.

And give me a break, a Ashley Tisdale/High School Musical fan shouldn't be too difficult to make a comeback at or take care of.

Ugh at this thread....are we not thinking here? If this all started because some people get mad at you for saying YOUR opinion isn't it true though that they are saying THEIR opinion.

Like with what Arith said...Adrian called him out for saying his opinion on something. But isn't it true that Adrian is saying his opinion? If you don't like his opinion say something back because it's then your opinion. No matter what no one will win this because no matter what way you look at it....it's an opinion.

LMAO, not one person who fights back posted in here besides kely. I always have this problem. Actually it always happens to me. I'll come in a thread to listen to the download or do whatever and then post what I think. If it's negative a stan of whoever I'm talking about will attack and it'll go one all ****ing night. LOL at Kevin trying to defend Adrian. Adrian was wrong. That WASN'T Adrian's opinion to tell Arith to stick to "Urban ****" which I'm still trying to figure out why that could've been discrimination, but anyways that's not an opinion telling someone to shut the **** up and then go on blanting about how great their artist is but whoever they're attacking they bash the person in their avatar or siggy like an idiot which starts another chain of stinky ****.

Please let us ****ing say what we want. Praise to Shade for pointing this out.
