Just because they're the hottest ones now, doesn't mean they'll be in five years. So I think it's premature to say any of them can go solo, when they've only been out as a group for 1 year. Let's see if the group can stand the test of time, and then we can decide if any of them can go solo.
If any of them should go solo, it is Liam. He is the most talented, the most determined, the most levelheaded, and the most humble and the best looking. That is all.

Like Zayn, his "solo career" will coming crashing down with the very first solo interview. Neither of them are captivating in the least.
King Harry will be the only one able to have a career outside of One Direction.
If he plays his card right. he could find some moderate success in US. He got that amazing RnB and hiphop kinda voice so it will lead him to the hip/hop society in US. plus, i find his religion is a plus for him, there are so many rappers who are actually muslims, from Nas to Snoop dog, ans so on.
The problem is that he cant really dance, so he should avoid that. but honestly i don't see this thing as a buredn for him to get a success tho.
he sould build his image first. and making some good connection to hip/hop and rap community in US. i mean, if justin bieber is very welcomed by the hiphop comunnity, why wouldnt zayn?
