No, no, no, no. We were eventually evolved from single cellular organisms over 3.7 billion years; it certainly wasn't a straight shot from bacteria to human but rather a slow and gradual climb.
For the record, I'm not religious, but I was raised Catholic so I've reached the above conclusion purely by weighing the evidence. It is quite obvious, to me, which side is more valid.
