Yup, because everyone totally missed out on the song when it was originally released in 1984 by Dead or Alive, peaking at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the UK singles chart.

It was even covered by Thalia a mere 5 years ago for her English album. If Jessica were to release the song as a single it would only further prove that her own music sucks and that she has to rely on covering other people's songs. What's "very different" about covering a song that was released over 2 decades ago and has already been covered several times?

I think Jessica is never done because We always see the musical side but Jessica is most followed for the paparazzis than Christina and She must to be promoting her singles, i think You Spin Me Around would be a perfect single, and Jessica's singles is very weird because some are hit others not!.

As dead as this album seems to be, releasing "You Spin Me Round" would probably be the worst choice, given how many covers she's done lately. She'd be better off releasing "Fired Up" as planned, but I think whatever is released is guaranteed to flop.

The thing is, people like Jessica Simpson for the reality-TV-bimbo she is. They want to know about her personal life, not her songs or records. Nobody cares about her as a singer and that's a shame because, even though I hate her, she's talented.
Besides, she released her single and album with no promotion while HUGE artists were ruling the charts with, well, GOOD songs.
