Marilyn Monroe's image, affair with JFK, and alleged overdose -- sensationalized and controversial. Elvis Presely hips gyrating -- very controversial back then. Not to mention the fact that he joined the army -- a celebrity of his status joining the military to fight in the war was very sensationalized. These moments made their celebrity status surpass their contemporaries. Marilyn Monroe is more famous than Elizabeth Taylor and Aubrey Hepburn. Elvis Presley is more famous than The Beatles. Whenever these current celebrities are playing dress up in their photoshoots, they always come back to Marilyn Monroe blonde locks and sultry look or Elvis Presley's slick hair, blue jeans and a white tee -- there's a reason for that. Because those controversial and sensationalized moments in their careers catapulted them onto another stratosphere past their contemporaries, even if their contemporaries were arguably more in tune with their craft. The same principle applies today.
Britney Spears' career will always overshadow Beyoncé's career. It's
not the first and won't be the last career Spears will overshadow.
Some artists and their stans learn that the hard way.
Just accept it and move on. We all have.

I'm just saying that Beyoncé isn't the next coming of Jesus like some
of these people are making her out to be.

They aren't saying that she is. They're saying that Beyoncé has done much better than Britney since 2003.

Bey's outsold Britney in single sales (physical and digital) since 2003.

No, the last time I checked Halo was one of the most successful singles of the year worldwide and sold over 5 million copies worldwide.

they keep bragging about movies when britney has done one
they have deluded themselves into thinking single ladies was more successful than toxic and womanizer (i suggest everyone look at the worldwide chartings of all 3 of these songs and laugh)
they keep bragging about performances when britney's horrific 2007 vma performance alone is more remembered than any performance beyonce has ever done
they keep talking about respect when NOBODY WHO HAS WORKED WITH BRITNEY has ever badmouthed her and she is consistently cited as one of the sweetest and most professional people to work with
and once it was undeniable britney has had more media coverage and attention, it became a discussion of "only positive publicity"
and they act like it's absolutely impossible to legit believe britney has had a superior career in the same time period

If I Were A Boy was #1 in over 11 countries and has also sold over 5 million copies along with becoming her best selling single ever in the UK with almost 700k copies.

Beyhive coming with wrong receipts.
Britney stans saying ITZ sold 10 million when it clearly sold 7 million.
People not realizing since 2003 Beyonce has won 13 Grammys, 10 VMAs, 2 Golden Globe Noms, & 3 Legend Awards.
Single Ladies > Any Post 2003 Britney Impact
Digital Sales: Beyonce > Britney
Album Sales: Beyonce > Britney
Airplay: Beyonce > Britney
Positive Media Coverage: Beyonce > Britney
Critical Acclaim: Beyonce > Britney
This is not even rocket science.

That was really mind-boggling . Where did the "none of her peers respect her" come from? I think some of them think she's on Ke$ha's or Katy's level or something.

Who's here for beyonce?
I think that should answer the OP's question.

The 70,000 people at Glastonbury that watched her and the other 10 million at home and online?

I don't think anyone is going to be doing the "iconic Britney head shave, beat a car with an umbrella" look anytime in the future tho...
