You really haven't thought this through before posting, have you? HELLO, she's sold almost 30 million albums since the start of 2011. Those sort of sales don't happen by just appealing to a small section of society, you know.

Great lead single which was a massive chart topper globally, then a heartfelt ballad which was sung by a good singer, and good promo in 2011.

Here is what I think separates her from the rest of the group. She focuses solely on the music. If you notice in her performances, all she has to do is sing. No dancers, no fireworks or some **** just her voice. She doesn't **** her self off to the crowd like how many pop stars do by pretty much wearing no clothes. She seems the most real to people which is why she is able to appeal to such a broad range of listeners.

she's got a good voice, but her music is very relatable to a certain demographic. that and Rolling In The Deep was going to smash, it had so much potential to i wasn't surprised. SLY was the surprise, but the voice and heartbreak was what made it so popular. and then SFTTR smashed because, well the song is just plain awesome, only a fool would say otherwise *flips hair diva style*
