Based on some of the songs of "A Public Affair".......she basically does not have a chance to make her album sell....but there are two choices, that I think, may bring her back.......of course "Fired Up" is her next single which is one of her choices, but she also has "you spin me round(like a record)"........a great choice, that people may want to listen to.....it's a bit techno, but very different and if she makes this song a choice and puts robots and machines in this video, then she will surely sell well.....

robots? machines? wouldn't that just give everyone more reason to poke fun at her for thinking of stupid ideas? i mean being stupid helped her before but ever since divorcing Nick her stupidity has become real. FU won't help the album at all. It's fallen to death. like i said b4 she needs a re-release with 3 songs that are not hers. LOL, it helped In This Skin which was a good album by itself.

Give the girl a chance everyone........people are running out of Ideas.....but if Jessica finds a good producer and tells him that she wants alot of fire and sweat in "fired up" and alot of robots and electricity in "spin me round(like a record)" then that will surely catch alot of people's ideas......if fired up gains her back her success....then I will surely love the girl.....I just feel really bad for her....

Will Fired Up EVER be officially released as the 3rd single? Seriously, I have doubts, unfortunately.

Jessica could actually do well with a public affair in the UK if she bothered to promote it, The single APA is #22 on itunes UK right now and These Boots reached #4 she just doesn't seem bothered at all.

Unless John Mayer's GF wants to do another re-released record, she's done. I think I finished her CD in under 20 minutes. I think she was overpowered by Nelly, Beyonce, and Christina here in the United States. Then A Public Affair wasn't a smart 1st single choice, but it had a good video. As for I belong to me, it was the vice-versa, but I think it also might've been overshadowed by certain other pop songs at the time. Finally I remember her doing The Today Show and Ellen promoting the album when she was sick, and barely had a voice going. (Which could've played a part in her sales.)

Jessica has potential of coming back and being "With You"-big again, but there's got be some higher comprehension amongst her management. They should've re-sent her to all the TV show appearances she did and have her perform.

I Belong To Me was the worst single ever.

I wished she promoted the album more, there was no performance of APA, like two of I Belong To Me when her voice was gone and that was obviously the problem. Jessica needs TV for success, its not like a Christina or Beyonce who can let their music sell itself, Jessica actually needs to go out and promote her butt of to get her things to sell. There was only one and a half weeks of promotion for the album and that was from like August 27 - September 10.

Its sad because this is her best album yet. She should add like 3 songs on the album and rerelease it in April with a new song then release Fired Up after that if she still wants. I dont think a new single now will do anything for her album.
