Yes. Bad Romance and TFM are released one month apart I believe because people already know that The Fame exists so when they see TFM there's no need to have a pre-album promotion because it's an EP. With this new album a pre-album single hype and promotion is much needed because it's an introduction to an entirely new era.

If it is released in 2013, it will probably be about the NA leg of the BTWB, which is in the new era.

Well, TF(M) was also released as a solo EP in the US and had a quite extensive worldwide promo campaign (AMAs, Ellen, X-Factor UK, Wetten Dass?...). It was The Fame Monster which catapulted her to WW superstardom, more than The Fame.

Im sure the lead single can last 4 months and if she promotes the second single at the grammys thats another hit ! But she should drop the album before the grammys if she's performing there ! The thing that made the BTW era short was Gaga released 3 singles before the album even came out ! Her & her team need to wait till the singles drop out of the top 30 and then release the next single ! They were releasing singles while the one before it was still doing good !
