Situations like this make radio look bad tbh. If it's smashing on all publicly controlled Hot 100 determinants, it shouldn't be getting held down by the privately controlled portion.
Yeah, it's so true. Pop radio is just so stubborn all the time, it pisses me off really. Some Nights should be top 10 on pop by now. They'll have to play it eventually, it's going #1.
I'd say lots of songs the past few years have been bigger than Poker Face anyway (Rolling in the Deep, Bleeding Love, Single Ladies, California Gurls, Tik Tok, We Found Love, etc.). I'm talking in terms of impact obviously.

I meant in terms of sales. Rolling in the Deep is the only one that has bested it in that department.

CG, TT or WFL were not bigger than PF. The other ones are debatable.

I Gotta Feeling > Party Rock Anthem > Call Me Maybe > Rolling In the Deep > Bad Romance > Poker Face = Just Dance > Dynamite
I understand that CMM is currently huge in the US, but it's not that popular in Latin America and some European countries.. So lets not put it up there yet.
I guess we'll have to wait for the IFPI official receipts..

In terms of impact, I would not put Bad Romance ahead of Poker Face, which I would not say is equal to JD anyway. And Firework would be in front of Poker Face, given that it gets it's biennial boosts.
