I can't see why he thought leaving it to October would benefit the girls, especially considering when they do comeback you rarely ever see them on TV shows. 'I Love You' fell to #7 on digital this week, which isn't good at all for a group like 2NE1. Now he decides to delay their next single by 3 months because of a world tour which didn't even need to happen this soon.

The first 6 songs were by PSY and B2ST though, so technically they're doing super fine - 325.000 digital downloads isn't bad at all.

I stan for these girls hard, but I agree with everything you said. They could be SO much bigger, but YG keeps messing up their releases and promos. Korea is a crucial market for them and they have to keep their name out there, but YG gives them crap promo and leaves way too long between comebacks. I mean it will be over 15 months since their last proper comeback.

I'm so disappointed, I'm sure they'll prove me wrong by comebacking stronger than ever, still it's a huge let down. If YG is smart (and lately I don't think so) he has to release ILY eng. on iTunes with some kind of US promo (radios, for example) and Take The World On as a buzz track. But I'm sure he won't.
But Love You is a masterpiece though. I think it's because the girls will be just too exhausted with everything that's been going on in their career. I think this is a good move. They need to rest and get their energy up, and when they come back with the new album they'll be glorious.
It's for the best, the queens need to take their time before hitting the big market, USA.
