Usually I never say that things in weather are over hyped because its always better to be safe, but this was completely over hyped and I knew it would be before the "storm" even came.

Storms in NY/NYC are always over-hyped. The storms don't last for more than 30 minutes.
BUT I did get my ass soaked while coming home and got sick for a few hours because of it.

No One Has Seen A Thunderstorm until they come to Brisbane Australia. We get hit iike a bitch here
We get storms like this 3 or 4 times in a summer now!

its was grey and foggy when i was there too, thats when my plane canceled and i was stucked at NY airport overnight. worst nightmare ever.

Lol I can't at all these cities freaking out over a little severe thunderstorm. We get **** way worse than that down here.
