That's why I originally felt she should've waited until the Born This Way Ball was completely over and release the lead single in April of 2013. Start fresh without any remnants of the BTW era to completely divorce herself from that Gaga.
I tried to not get myself set on a 2012 album release. It would just be too messy with the tour going on at the same time.
